Tansey Coetzee - Miss South Africa

Tansey Coetzee

Tansey grew up in Johannesburg, she is currently in the process of completing a B.A. in Corporate Communications, her ambition is to start her own fashion label and to run an Events Company. She has worked as a Sales Executive for an I.T. company, and is also interested in all forms of dance from: ballet, hip hop, jazz, tap, modern, to Spanish dance.

Sporting and leisure interests are: cooking; spending time outdoors; acting; singing; listening to music; reading. Favourite foods are: prawns, calamari, pasta & curries.

Tansey’s motto is: “The greatest losses of all, are those from missed opportunities”.

Edita Kresakova - Miss Slovakia

Edita Kresakova

Edita was born in Kosice, the second largest city in Slovakia and grew up in Sena, a village on the Slovak and Hungarian boarders. Slovakia is a country of many castles, full of culture and history.

Currently a student, she would like to qualify as an Air Traffic Controller. Sports and leisure interests include: travel, skiing, tennis, swimming, jogging, music, dancing; and an interest in Egyptian history.

Favourite food is Italian pasta or pizza and of course local Slovakian food. Personal motto is “Live your life because you never know which day is your last”.

Tyrilia Chukuma Gouldson - Miss Sierra Leone

Tyrilia Chukuma Gouldson

Tyrilia grew up in Freetown, where the mountains resemble a Lion’s mane, and in the centre of Freetown there is a massive tree that is home to thousands of bats!

Her proudest moment was achieving a diploma in Local Government Administration and a Certificate in Accounting. She is currently working as a Deputy Roaming Co-Ordinator for a Telecom company, with an ambition to achieving her BSc in Public Sector Administration.

Hobbies and sporting interests are: Volleyball; cooking; designing; reading; writing poetry; singing; dancing; drum & belle twist. Favourite food is the Cassava leaf. Her motto is “Never give up on your dreams and goals, even in the face of adversity”.

Elena Angione - Miss Seychelles

Elena Angione

Elena was born in Italy and relocated to the Seychelles at the age of two. She considers that the Seychelles have it all; from the amazing water world, deep blue sea caressing the pearly white beaches, to the picturesque post card scenery, to the mountains full of flora and fauna where endemic birds sing harmoniously!

Elena is enjoying working for Air Seychelles as a supervisor/customer services officer in the C.I.P lounge, her ambition is to work her way to the top.

Leisure interests include: reading; writing; singing; listening to Pop, R&B and Latino music; looking after her pet dog named Chupette. Favourite foods are Oriental and Creole cuisine.

Her motto is “Kindness creates the ability to love and understand”.

If you were stranded on a desert island what one item could you not be without?

If I was stranded on a desert island I most definitely could not be without a barrel of water, (because water is the source of life).

What is the craziest thing you have ever done?

One time when I was about 13, me and my best friend skived school just so we could go fishing!!!

Nevena Lipovac - Miss Serbia

Nevena Lipovac

Nevena grew up in Belgrade and is a student at the Faculty of Economics. Her future ambition is to have her own P.R. & Marketing Company.

Sporting and leisure interests are: travelling; volleyball; swimming; snowboarding; bowling; playing snooker; designing new clothes; listening to pop & commercial music; reading biographies: dancing; and her favourite food is McDonald’s!

One of the most interesting projects Nevena has done was working as an assistant at the Faculty of traffic Engineering. Her personal motto is “First think – then smile!”.

Stephanie Willemse - Miss Scotland

Stephanie Willemse

Stephanie grew up in Rutherglen, Glasgow, Scotland, a country filled with beautiful scenery and friendly people.

After completing her higher education, Stephanie now works full time as a model on the international circuit, proudest moment was taking part in the New York Fashion week. Her ambition is to work in TV and radio.

Sporting and leisure interests are: Netball; hockey; tennis; music; singing and reading autobiographies. Favourite food is sushi. Personal motto would be “Live life to the full!”.

Joyann Biscette - Miss Saint Lucia

Joyann Biscette

Joyann was born in Castries, the capital city of the island of St Lucia. This small but striking Caribbean island can boast of: a world heritage site, the majestic twin peaks called Pitons, and the world’s only drive-in volcano.

Joyann is currently working in the sales and service sector of the Tourism industry, her long term goal is to have her own business in the Tourism and Entertainment field.

Leisure interests are: Listening to R&B and Calypso; singing and performing; dancing; and she loves to read thrillers as it gives her a sense of ‘life on the edge’. Joyann does not have a favorite food, but is curious about foods from all culinary backgrounds. Her motto is “No one can do everything, but everyone can do something”.

Kseniya Sukhinova - Miss Russia

Kseniya Sukhinova

Kseniya lives with her parents in the Tyumen region, which is situated in the north west of Siberia.

She is currently studying for a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineer of Administration, her ambition is also to become a Supermodel.

Her leisure and sporting interests are: swimming; mountain skiing; roller skating; badminton; gym; rhythm gymnastics; pop & dance music; reading Russian classic literature; favourite food is: Japanese and Italian. Kseniya’s personal motto is: “Respect people around you, and people will respect you”

If you were stranded on a desert island what one item could you not be without?
Antimosquitos creme.

Who you admire most of the world?
The Creator of nature and life on the earth.

What is the craziest thing you have ever done?
I was swimming in the open sea with sharks.

4.What is your greatest achievement?
Talent to take people such as they are.

If you could travel back in time when and where would you travel?
I would go to Sparta to the 8th century BC to see the place and feel the spirit which influenced our life so much. The land of thinkers, beauty and sports, philosophy and literature, art and drama, era of human courage and simplicity in life.

Ivonne Orsini Lopez - Miss Puerto Rico

Ivonne Orsini Lopez

Ivonne was born and grew up in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, a tropical island in the Caribbean. Puerto Rico is the ideal place to enjoy good Latin music and food, rich in culture and history it is recognised as ‘The Island of Enchantment’.

She is a university student with career ambitions to develop in the communications field and to break with the paradigms in this field, for example, in sports. She also hopes to become an actress. So far she has participated in a soap opera series called ‘Decisiones’.

A special day in her life was on her 18th birthday, she was involved with the track and field team and won medals for all her events, thanks to this she has had many offers and scholarships for college.

Interests are: Dance: salsa, meringue, bamba and bachata: acting, track & field, volleyball, basketball, badminton, swimming, painting, rhetoric, reading and all kinds of music. Favourite food is pizza and Puerto Rican food.

Andreia Rodrigues Condesso - Miss Portugal

Andreia Rodrigues Condesso

Andreia grew up in the capital, Lisbon, she loves Portugal for its: beautiful beaches, scenic mountains, good climate, and warm people.

Having graduated High School, she is currently studying for her degree in Social Communication; her ambition is work as an entertainment presenter.

Sporting and leisure interests are: cycling; rollerblading; travelling; listening to music from: rock and roll to classical; reading romantic novels; modern & jazz dance; karaoke singing; cooking; and she adores the cuisine of Italian and Japan.

Andreia’s motto is “Live one day at a time, do something good for those who surround me”.

Klaudia grew up in Wysiedle, a beautiful small town where every one knows each other, it is just like being in one big happy family!

Klaudia’s proudest moment was when she was accepted into university, she is now studying Management. Her ambition is to open her own restaurant. spending time with her older sister by the lake, and looking after her pet dog and cats; she also enjoys photography.

Sporting and leisure interests are: jogging; volleyball; listening to ‘Guns & Roses’; Favorite food is spaghetti.

If you were stranded on a desert island what one item could you not be without?
My trusty little mirror, because it would help me to make fire, get rescued and still look fabulous.

Who do you admire most in the world?
I admire John Paul II. For the people of Poland and myself he always was a true inspirational leader.

What is the craziest thing you have ever done?
Spending a day driving quad motorcycle through mountains of mud has been very amazing for me.

Annmarie De Hainaut Velezmoro - Miss Peru

Annmarie De Hainaut Velezmoro

Annmarie was born in Miami, Florida, and grew up in Lima, the capital of Peru. A country rich with ethnic cultures and races, and has a diverse climate and vegetation.

She has completed her high school education gaining an acceptance to college; she plans to take a language degree and study to become a veterinarian. Her passion is protecting animals from abuse.

Sporting and leisure interests are: volley ball, soccer; reading, listening to Latin ballads, and has a special talent for mime. Her proudest day was when she graduated from High School with honors and a first place diploma in maths. Favorite food is the national dish of Peru ‘ceviche de pescado’.

Her motto is “A sincere smile can change some ones day”.
